Tuesday:

10am – Storytelling: Would you like to share stories – real-life or fictional? Are you interested in honing your storytelling skills? Using fun topics and exercises, this group will explore all kinds of storytelling – from recovery stories to “campfire stories.”

11am – Advocacy: Life is filled with opportunities to advocate for ourselves or with others. Whether you’re interested in making a change in the world and looking for a place to start, an expert in advocacy looking to share your skills, or curious about how to advocate for yourself in your own life – this is the group for you.

12pm – Lunch Chat: Enjoy a lunchtime discussion about anything that's going on with you, chat about interesting topics, and give and receive peer support. This is an open peer support group.

1pm – Creative Writing: Join us to spend time together responding to fun writing prompts and (optionally) sharing our writing with others, all while enjoying a playlist of songs selected by members of the group. All skill levels welcome!

2pm – Recovery Is Real: What does recovery "look like" to you? What do you think it means to be “in recovery”? How do we work towards recovery day-to-day? In this group we will discuss these questions and more.

Wednesday:

10am – Wellbeing: What does wellbeing mean to you? This is a space to explore ideas about wellbeing in every sense of the word and work together towards our own definitions of what it means to be “well.”

11am – Sharing Interests: Have you seen a good movie recently, or read a book that captivated you? Have you come across an interesting video online, or found a type of food that’s new to you? This group is a space for sharing and discussing interests, from years-long hobbies to brand-new discoveries.

12pm – Lunch Chat: Enjoy a lunchtime discussion about anything that's going on with you, chat about interesting topics, and give and receive peer support. This is an open peer support group.

1pm – Healing from Difficult Experiences: How do we heal when we have gone through something difficult or experienced trauma? What does the process of healing look like? This is a space to safely discuss the difficult experiences we’ve had, and explore our paths to healing.

2pm – Brain Games: Give your mind something to “chew on” and get to know others in the community as we explore fun and interesting brain teasers and questions about ourselves.

Thursday:

10am – Relaxation Techniques: Are you interested in learning techniques to become more mindful and more relaxed? Do you have a skill or practice that helps you relax? Learn and share with others as we try out different relaxation and mindfulness techniques along with the group.

11am – Self-Acceptance: How can we truly accept ourselves while also growing and changing? What role does self-acceptance play in each of our individual recoveries? In this group, we will discuss these questions and more, while supporting each other in moving towards discovering and accepting ourselves.

12pm – Lunch Chat: Enjoy a lunchtime discussion about anything that's going on with you, chat about interesting topics, and give and receive peer support. This is an open peer support group.

1pm – Current Events: Do you love discussing and learning more about what’s going on in the world? In this group, we will take a look at some of the week’s top headlines, explore the news, and discuss how current events affect each one of us.

2pm – Arts and Music: Try out creative "drawing prompts" and (optionally) share drawings with others, all while listening to a playlist of tunes selected by group members. All skill levels welcome!
